Russel was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has studied various qualifications including Exercise Science, Sports Psychology and Project Management. He has been project managing a variety of sporting teams for the past 6 years. This included his successful participation in massage therapy and team co-ordination with the Cycling Australia Olympic team at the 2016 Olympic Games.
Russel’s training in sports psychology has complemented the work that he has done and has delivered with teams, this has allowed him to set challenging, yet achievable goals for the individuals as well as the team as a whole.
Russel thrives on the complexity, challenge and sporting competition these projects present, giving him the opportunity to exercise his pragmatic approach to delivering on time and on budget, whilst ensuring that the well-being and performance of the clients is at the hub of any activity.
When he is not in the office, Russel enjoys being outdoors on his bike or hiking. He has even led a team to the top of Africa’s tallest Summit, Mount Kilimanjaro.
